Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently halfway through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the initial important trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
